About Our Teachers

Lucy Fang

Lucy has been playing flute for almost 6 years and is a part of her school's Wind Ensemble. She has also played flute in the Triangle Youth Orchestra. She has won RAFA's Review and Contest and has gotten a superior rating for the Solo and Ensemble Fest. She has also made it into the All-County and All-District bands.

Wah Paw

Wah has been playing flute since sixth grade and also plays in her school band. She has been apart of her high school Wind Ensemble since Sophomore year where they focus much of their times on perfecting their tones and rhythm.

Davin Lee

Davin is a self-taught guitarist of 5 years, but has been learning music for over 10. He is a blues and jazz enthusiast who gets much of his inspiration from musicians such as Joe Pass, Eric Clapton and Wes Montgomery.

Oviya Ilangovan

Oviya has been playing piano for over 9 years and actively participates in piano competitions, getting a superior rating every time. She also played piano for her middle school's jazz band. This past year she was selected to be in the Triangle Youth Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra for piano. 

Jake Juliano

Jake has been playing clarinet for 5 years now and has composed music for 4. He plays both the Eb and Bb clarinet and has been playing in his school's band. He has made it into All-County, District, and State bands. He is also apart of the Eastern Regional Orchestra and the North Carolina Youth Wind Ensemble. He has a baseline understanding of music composition but tends to write from his heart rather than his brain. Over the past four years, he has published some of his music to YouTube.

Eesha Barua

Eesha has been playing the viola for 11 years. She is a member of the Phiharmonic Association and the North Carolina Chamber Music Institue.

Johnathan Jesalva

Caroline Fang

Johnathan has been playing the violin since he was 4 years old. Ever since the start of his musical career, he has been dedicated to sharing his passion for music through teaching.

Caroline has played violin for 4 years and also 2 years of piano before the violin. She has played in several regional and school level orchestras, as well as state-level orchestra. She aspires to share her passion for music with other young people through fun teaching.

Aditya Pilluta

Anh Lac

Aditya has been baking from a very young age. He has been featured on Food Network's Kid's Baking Championship in Season Four where he competed and recieved very high rankings. Now, he bakes for his temple and occasionally a hospital as well.

She has been involved in visual arts since she was young. She was a TA at the Raleigh Academy of Chinese Language. She is also an active member of the AP Art Studio program at her school and has had her art featured at the North Carolina State Fair.

Jasmin Singh

Jasmin has been an aspiring actor ever since she was young and was inspired by the actors in the various plays she saw a little girl. In seventh grade, she volunteered at a local theater. Now, she takes acting classes almost every day during the quarantine to better her acting skills. She plans on pursuing acting more in future!

Aida Guo

Aida has been involved in art for over ten years. She was a Co-Art Teacher at Cary Chinese School for a year. Her watercolor paintings have been shown at an exhibit called "Extra Credit". Her watercolor art has been featured in literary magazines: "In Between the Margins" and "Thoughts From Chaos".    

Raven Rodillas

Charlene Wu

Raven has many years of experience in design and art practice. She is a member of the NCSU design lab and has experience being a private art tutor.

Charlene is a staff writer for the Enloe Eagle’s Eye news publication. She loves writing opinion editorials and informative essays.  As co-founder and co-president of Enloe’s Calligraphy Club and Cary Teen Council member, she loves talking to people and interacting with kids! Some of her other hobbies include reading, video editing, embroidery, and piano. You can find more of her work at @mca.studies on Instagram.

Kiya Macedo

Ellen Zeng

Ellen has been painting since she was 5 years and has won various awards for her acrylic paintings, such as the Scholastic Silver Key. She also teaches an art class every Saturday at Cary Chinese School.

Varshini Venuturupalle

Varshini is a junior at Enloe High School. She has been doing origami for over 6 years and has been a part of an origami club. She enjoys teaching kids in her free time! 

Chethana 

Chethana has been interested in the arts since she was a child. She dabbles in a little bit of everything from painting, to paper crafts, to digital art. She has over 4 years of experience with origami. Her favorite piece of origami is the Herringbone Tessellation! She specializes in miniature origami.
